Sarah Selvaraj-Dsouza is a community organizer, social justice advocate, mom and small business owner. She serves on several boards including the Reston Association, GMU School of Music, and FACS.
As executive director of Restonstrong, Sarah has played a vocal role in advancing solutions for restons unhoused neighbors since 2021. The grassroots initiative under her leadership has grown to become #restonSTRONG a 501c3 community action group with amazing charity partners and community supporters. Supporting a feeding hundreds on a weekly basis solely through food rescue donations and community partnerships.
Diversity, innovation, and adaptation have been an integral part of her life. Raised in India, she travelled on a full scholarship to Singapore and completed her engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, she also obtained a MB in Bristol, England, and moved to Reston 14 years ago to start a family.
