Scott Peterson

Chair

Scott is a Unitarian-Universalist and co-founder of Faith Alliance for Climate Solutions. Chair of the board of directors, he also serves as chair of the board’s advocacy committee and works to strengthen and expand local hubs. A frequent speaker at events, he also helps to build coalitions. He has played an important role in growing FACS since its inception. Previously, he was employed in the financial industry, where he was a managing director of communications at the New York Stock Exchange and director of communications at the Nasdaq Stock Market. Scott is a graduate of the University of Southern California and holds a Certificate of Financial Planning from Georgetown University. Born in Pennsylvania, he is the grandson of coal miners.
