Board Member
As a member of Rock Spring United Church of Christ in Arlington, Laura loves to bring faith into action through campus net zero implementation, Earth Day events, stream cleanups, pulling invasives, and youth group leadership. Laura participates in the FACS Arlington Hub, especially its engagement of APS leadership and students in climate action. Laura brings 20 years of professional environmental leadership at wildlife conservation organizations, smart growth groups, and green neighborhood design consulting. As a mother and community member, Laura has led environmental education initiatives at individual schools and APS-wide as chair of the Superintendent’s Advisory Committee on Sustainability.
