Many of you are hard at work supporting the gubernatorial campaigns, and most of us will head to the polls next Tuesday. Whatever your political persuasion – and FACS welcomes them all – in voting we are demonstrating our solidarity as citizens, and as God’s creation, on this earth. Keep reading to learn additional ways to engage this month as stewards of the earth.



Get out and vote for Virginia’s next Governor!

FACS brought both Democratic Candidate Ralph Northam’s and Republican Candidate Ed Gillespie’s views to you on Virginia’s energy future in separate dialogues. Read our blog for highlights. The general election is next Tuesday, November 7. Let’s shape tomorrow by voting today.

 

 

 

Launch of Fairfax to Zero Campaign

The Fairfax to Zero Campaign officially launched on November 1st! Fairfax to Zero is an ambitious effort to promote local policies that will reduce greenhouse gases by 2% every year, reaching carbon neutrality by 2050. Join us to make Fairfax a leader in local solutions to climate change.

Property Assessed Clean Energy, or PACE, financing programs are making it more cost effective and viable for commercial, industrial and not-for profit property owners to invest in energy cost saving measures and improvements or reliability.
