April 2022 Alexandria Hub Updates
City Climate priorities gain traction in the City FY23 Budget discussions, continued advocacy needed
Thanks to FACS Alexandria hub members and other advocates, climate is a front and center issue in the budget discussions (see this AlxNow article). In March, hub members testified at the City budget hearing and met with City Council members. Our efforts are paying off, but continued advocacy is needed as Council negotiates the budget over the month of April to adopt in early May.
